Parking

When leaving Sussex Drive and taking Lady Grey Drive, and after taking left at the first intersection, you will go through a parking lot. Please use this upper parking lot for your car. As there is not a lot of parking space, you may need to park on the other (East) side of Sussex Drive (on Bolton and Cathcart streets).

Lady Grey Drive takes a 180 degree turn slightly further, going down toward the river and the Club. The second parking space at this lower level will be reserved for trailers carrying shells from away clubs.

There is no parking fee.

Facilities

There are two shell houses at ORC. The first one you see, the oldest, has washrooms, showers and lockers on ground floor.

The second building stores all of the shells and oars used for the regatta. On the second floor, where the canteen is located, you’ll be able to see the entire races.

Coaches' meeting

The coach meeting will be held at the new shell house, starting at 7h45. The safety rules and draw will be reviewed.

Registration

Registration will start at 8h00. The registration booth will be located near the new shell house. The fee for each recreational rower is $20 for non-ORC members and $10 for ORC-members. There is no registration fee for coxswains and junior development rowers. Please bring cash with the exact change. We will no accept cheques or credit cards. U.S. dollars will be exchanged at par with the Canadian dollar.

Once registered, rowers are eligible to all races of their category (e.g. recreational) and gender. Rowers must be registered before racing. A food coupon will be given to all paid registrants (recreational rowers) and coxswains.

Coxswains do not need to be weighed for the competition.
