Registration is open for 2010

Over the next few days registration will now open for Ottawa Rowing Clubmembership and programs for the 2010 season. PLeas read this note carefully.

This year the club is switching to an electronic registration and payment system through Ronin Racing. To make sure evefrything goes smoothly we will stage the opening of registration/.memberships over several days. By the middle of next week everything will be up and running.

Registration is now open for the programs listed below. Clnck on the program below and it will take you to the correct Ronin Racing page.

Rackage

Please note that the rackage link above applies to those renewing permanent racks or those who have been allocated temporary racks in 2010. Rackage fee due date (normally April 1) has been extended to April 15, 2010 to provide boat owners with the opportunity to use the new online registration system.

IMPORTANT information for Registrants: In the first year of online registrations, some parents, rowers and registrants confuse a charge on their account and reverse it.

While most credit card statements say "RONIN* Ottawa Rowing Club(Competitive Program)," some credit cards and banks cut off a portion of the account information and registrants may only see(RONIN or PaybyRONIN). We recommend making sure all parents/registrants/rowers are aware of this. We have placed this information on several pages of our site.

Waivers

Every member who rows at the ORC must complete, sign and return a liability waiver. Those under 19 must have the signature of a parent or legal guardian.

The waiver is part of the registration/membership form and must be completed and submitted by all members.

Travel Information Form

Every member who competes with the club at a regatta must submit a completed copy of this form. Hand it in to the office. You may be asked to complete additional copies should trip organizers require.

The forms will be available here by late April.
